Patterson Town Hall
1142 Route 311
Patterson, NY 12563
There have been a number of incidents where Town employees or contractors who are providing municipal services on behalf of the Town have been subjected to abuse and harassment in the course of their duties. Most recently, there has been a report that a homeowner in Putnam Lake harassed an employee of Suburban Carting, while he was in the course of his duties, calling him a racial epithet. No worker providing essential municipal services should be subjected to such abusive and degrading treatment. Such conduct will not be tolerated.
The Town of Patterson stands with its employees and contractors and will take all necessary and appropriate steps to protect them.
